    Using the microwave was something that would bring on feelings of guilt and shame, there was a little voice in the back of my head suggesting that maybe I was killing all the nutrients in my food that I spent my hard earned money on and making it toxic.  Reading this article and the one to follow set my mind at ease and helped get food in my mouth faster on many occasions.  Turns out microwaves kill nutrients at roughly the same rate as most other cooking methods, it doesn’t make your food toxic and the radiation used does not pose a threat unless the vessel itself is cracked.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Haiku…

I want my food fast.
But not nuclear waste fast…
